This fabulous dessert tastes rich and decadent, but thanks to light-as-air angel food cake, fat-free yogurt and fresh fruit, you can indulge without having to loosen your belt buckle.
- 1 prepared angel food cake
- 3 8-oz. tubs of fat-free vanilla yogurt
- 2 tubs of fat-free whipped topping
- 2 cups each of sliced kiwi fruit, sliced strawberries, blackberries (feel free to substitute your favorite fruits)
Cut angel food cake into bite-sized chunks and place pieces in the base of a deep serving bowl until it is covered. Mix Cool Whip and yogurt, then spread part of the mixture on top of the cake bites. Layer with fresh fruit. Repeat this step with the second layer of cake, fruit and yogurt mixture until all ingredients have been used. Top the trifle with yogurt mixture and fruit. Chill for one hour, then serve.
